Family Style is a group of directors, photographers, designers, animators and digital content creators who share a common vision: to create stuff that intrigues, delights, engages and moves people. We take on any medium, from digital to film to print, producing and creating traditional films, viral shorts, integrated content and just about anything else that will help a brand make an indelible, memorable mark on the world.

why: to get Paralympics out from under the shadow of the Olympics so that people pay attention to and get engaged in the games.

how: show them a side of the athletes they've never seen before: loud, proud and full of attitude. create a narrative of fascinating facts about what makes a Paralympic athlete almost super human in their abilities.

what: The Super Athletes. a television and web series showcasing 20 of the Paralympics star athletes and what makes them so unique.

why: to introduce Lampyro, a new series of children’s books published by Blok Design and created in collaboration with leading contemporary artists, beginning with Mexican artist, Carlos Amorales.

how: capture the sophisticated aesthetic of Amorales’ book but serve it up with childlike whimsy and charm.

what: a stop motion book trailer.

el congo

why:  to go inside the world of Santeria and learn about the relationships between the priests and the spirits they channel.

how:  tommy davis spent a weekend with a world renowned Santeiran priest - el congo manuel.

what:  a verite documentary that drops the viewer dead center into the wild world of el congo manuel and his little shop of santeria.  if werner herzog and walt disney had a love child - their life might look a lot like this.

hyundai drive smart

why: to convert the non-believers who see Hyundai as nothing more than a basic, economic car.

how: give real people the opportunity to experience the affordable luxury of a Hyundai first-hand and document their responses.

what: authentic video portrayals of people falling from lust to love right in front of our eyes.

why: in our effort to explore the dark corners of the world through snowboarding, we thought the Czech republic would be a good place to start.

how: this is not your average snowboard series. shot in a raw, verité syle, we learn about the past, present, and future of the Czech snowboard scene.

what: a five-part episode offering an insight into Czech snowboarding culture, unlike any other before it.

why: to document the journey from conception to execution of a techically groundbreaking Subaru spot for the 2011 WRX STI.

how: tell the story of what went into directing a production considered so technically daunting that it could only be achieved with special effects. we showed how it was done for real.

what: an all-access documentary detailing the ambitious production.
